THE EVENT:
The annual Gamespot E3 Afterparty returned to The Standard DTLA's rooftop for the 7th year in a row, hosting Gamespot's top partners, invited media and guests. The "Retro Future" theme featured pops of neon and color throughout the event, with a mix of nostalgic activations such as a Giant Light Bright and futuristic touches like the nitro ice-cream dessert station. Guests were treated to specialty F&B items such as glow in the dark cotton candy, late night munchie bites and boozy slushy drinks. The event also featured a fully themed Dr Pepper "Treat Yourself Lounge" with photo moments and additional games and activities.
ROLE:
As Senior Event Coordinator:
x Produced overall event with producer oversight
x Lead all client communications and client facing documents including event deck, project timeline etc.
x Managed overall client production budget and post-event budget reconciliation
x Managed all client provided 2D assets to create branding and signage elements
x Worked cross functionally with design team to create 3D renders of all custom fabricated elements
x Ideated on and sourced all activation elements - nitro dessert station, video booth, infinity dance floor etc.
x Managed in-house fabrication elements including custom DJ booth, fireplace facade, oversized Dr Pepper headphones etc.
x Sourced all in-theme furniture & decor as well as giveaway / swag elements
x Managed venue including all logistics, F&B elements and BOH
x Booked and managed all crew, production assistants and staff for load-in, event, and breakdown
x Booked DJ talent and manage all technical / hospitality rider requests
x Sourced and oversaw all 3rd party vendors including rentals, check-in staff and security
